Revive Your Silent (or Screaming) PC Fans!
Is your computer sounding like a jet engine, or worse—did a fan stop spinning entirely? Before you toss it in the trash and buy a replacement, watch this. Most PC and PSU fans use a sleeve bearing that eventually dries out, but a single drop of oil can often bring them back to life.
In this video, I’ll walk you through the step-by-step process of opening, cleaning, and re-lubricating your fans to make your rig whisper-quiet again.
⚠️ A Quick Note on Safety:
Power Supplies (PSUs) contain large capacitors that can hold a lethal electrical charge even when unplugged. If you are uncomfortable working inside a PSU, please stick to case and CPU fans!
